Like the rain I felt, falling down hitting the earth and becoming part of the mud. I curled along the leaves as if it were a blanket that would save me from the cold. But what I didn’t realize was that there was an endless winter in my heart. I was frozen. Shivering drenched in the cold feelings I kept close for such long. I wanted a cure! whatever happened is my fault. Some carefree moment, some reckless decisions, some promises broken, some lost hopes. Now that I look at it I feel like I was driven by a force I didn’t understand.
