Monday has always had a bad reputation, it won’t be wrong that it’s the most hated day of the week (poor Monday!). And it gets worse when you are late, are stuck in traffic and reach late to your job to find out all the work you forgot to do or the pile up work you ignored all weekend. Errr can I get that coffee already!!!
I am looking for solutions to overcome this Monday Morning Troubles. As I have recently stepped into the professional life and after just the first week Monday seems hard.
So list are the solutions I am going to work to overcome the current situation and try them over the coming Mondays. Others are welcomed to join and update me it works for them:
- The Monday Morning problems is deeply embedded in the previous weekend when we gave up our schedule of waking up early, sleeping on time and in just two days we throw ourselves out of the fit routine we had maintained throughout the week. So we must stick to the routine on weekend. Take a nap later in the day if you have to. Weekend morning can be really pleasant if you try and enjoy that time. Make it “Me Time.”
- And even after that Monday seems like an enormous mountain to climb just make a Monday to do list. Which would give you a heads up as to what to expect and soon you will find that it’s just another normal week day.
- Hydrate as much as possible. Start the day with a glass of water and keep water close all day long. Hydrating makes us active and keeps us fresh. You will feel great and fresh in no time.
- The way to office seems the hardest on Mondays and I often find myself sleeping on the car window. (which is pretty Embarrassing!) well the thing you can do to save yourself from this embarrassing situation is to keep a favorite book close and you would even know when you reached office or go read a joke or a funny post can help you lighten up your tensed mood and make the way a little less torturous.
